Aga Khan Palace
This is a huge palace made of woods and it stands on a land of 6.5 hectares. This palace was built by Sultan Aga Khan in the year 1892 and here Mahatma Gandhi and other prominent nationalists were interned by the British government. Here also the Quit India Movement was initiated in the year 1942. The main palace has the room where Gandhi used to stay and visitors can see it. One can also get to see a lot of rare photographs which shows some moments of his life.
